Public Records
The Borough of Mount Arlington is committed to open and transparent governance. If you would like to submit a Public Records request, please download our OPRA Request Form.
The Borough Administrator is responsible for the day to day operations of Borough including all departments, offices, and programs.
We are dedicated to serving our Borough’s residents and providing a direct link between the residents and their local government. We are also the registrar of vital records.
The Construction Department is responsible for enforcing the regulations of the State Uniform Construction Code, which was established by the State of New Jersey.
The Mount Arlington Dial-A-Ride service provides transportation to residents of the Borough of Mount Arlington who are 55 years of age or older or 18 or older and physically disabled.
The responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer and the Finance Office are to assure the proper practices of fiscal administration in local government.
The Mount Arlington Fire Department has proudly served the Borough for over a century. Volunteers are always needed, stop by the Fire House to apply.
The Borough of Mount Arlington contracts with the Township of Mount Olive for public health services. For Animal Control, please call 973-398-6832 x112 or 125.
The Mount Arlington Police Department proudly serves the community. The department consists of comprehensive patrol and detective divisions.
The Department of Public Works is responsible for a wide variety of activities within the Borough including maintenance of streets, roads, and Borough facilities.
Our programs are run by community volunteers and we could always use help. In addition to current offerings, we are continually researching new programs.
The Mount Arlington Department of Taxation consists of two separate divisions: assessment and collection.
The Department of Utilities manages the water, sewer, and solid waste services for the Borough of Mount Arlington.
