Municipal Clerk

Borough of Mount Arlington is seeking a full-time Municipal Clerk. Interested applicants must possess Registered Municipal Clerk (RMC) certification or obtain such certification pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-133 as well as Certified Municipal Registrar (CMR) certification. The Clerk’s duties include, but are not limited to, serve as Secretary to the Governing Body, preparing Council meeting agendas, minutes, attend all Council meetings, review and respond to OPRA requests, chief administrative officer for elections, custodian of municipal records, issue licenses and permits.
