Hike With The Mayors 2023

Jefferson Mayor Eric Wilsusen and Mt. Arlington Mayor Mike Stanzilis on a 3 mile hike at the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation in Jefferson for a “Hike With The Mayors”.

MC Parks Trailblazer Ed Young, of Jefferson and a member of the Jefferson Trails Committee led the way!

Ed shared tips on hiking safety and walking techniques to conserve energy and prevent injuries, and hydration and tick prevention advice, as well as some local history!

It was a perfect day to bring people together, enjoy the beautiful nature of Morris County and Jefferson Township, get exercise, learn, and have a good time making new friends.

Paddle with the Mayor

Partnering with the Lake Hopatcong Foundation, Mayor Stanzilis lead a guided paddle around Lake Hopatcong.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer and working with the committee or have any ideas for events please contact us! More hands make less work. We value your time and appreciate your involvement.
